Welcome to the Thomas A. Edison C.T.E. High School (TAEHS) Parent Teacher Association (PTA) web site! The TAEHS PTA is a volunteer organization that joins parents and teachers in a common venture:  enhancing education to enrich the lives and learning experiences of our children. 

This goal is acomplished in a variety of ways, including sponsoring specific programs for the students and parents, sharing parenting support, providing information to parents about the school and activities, and creating opportunities for administration, teachers, parents, and students to work together and communicate with one another. All students’ families are automatically members of the PTA, although your voluntary contribution will help support our activities. We encourage your active participation and support, and look forward to seeing you at our meetings and events. To receive email notices from the PTA you can register your email address with us on the Resources page.  (The PTA maintains its own email list, separate from that maintained by the school.)  The PTA is organized and constituted in accordance with the NYC Chancellor’s Regulation A-660.

By-Laws: The PTA by-laws were revised by a vote of the general membership on November 9, 2011 to make them compliant with changes in the A-660.
